Most of my family is from upstate SC, and KY. In SC our family names are Drummond, Farrow, Nelson, Ranson and Owings. In KY they are Adamson, Arthur, Farris and Pate.
I have been working on my family history for 20 years, off and on, a few have me stumped. I am lucky in that several others have forged the way and there are several books and quite a bit of info on my SC group.... however, my KY roots are a lot less worked on. I have a cousin who has done a great job and found a good deal ...there are still blank spots to fill,, as always.
The volunteers who have given of their time and effort for these projects have my utmost gratitude. I have found so many needed dates and other information here, I cannot thank them enough. I hope to help in the future.
