Born April 7, 1937 in Stoughton, WI. Graduated from Stoughton High School in 1955. Received Electrical Engineering degree from UW-Madison in 1959. Married to Wilma Herman in 1962. Have a son and daughter and five grandsons. Worked for Rockwell-Collins for 33 years. Retired from Rockwell-Collins in 1992. Hobbies are genealogy, manufacture of custom cutlery, and surf-fishing.
