I am a retired RN. Love to do my family's genealogy. Been working on a Beaty family book for over 10 years now. Have amassed a lot of data on family members. Book getting too large, over 1000 pages now. A publisher told me they charge $1 for each photo or document so that made the publishing cost of a book on paper prohibitive. Will most likely publish it on CD due to its length and the number of photos and documents I have found. Actually it will most likely be split between 2 CD's. Then I have to figure out how to advertise it so other people can buy a copy of the book if they want one. I am a complete novice at this.
