I am the gggrandaughter of Henry Boyden and Orpha Marsh Boyden. She and Henry were married in Guilford, VT. Their son, Francis Henry Boyden was the father of Guy Lee Boyden, who was my grandfather. Both Henry and his son Francis served in the Civil War. Henry is buried in the Marietta, Georgia cemetery. He was wounded in the Battle of Resaca, GA on May 12, 1864 and died at the field hospital at Vinings station, GA on July 16th, 1864. He married again while on leave to a Mary Esther Barber on August 10, 1862, in Waupaca, WI. I have tried to find information about her but haven't been able to. I would love to find some information on her. If anyone has any, please notify me.
