In January of 2002 I decided to attempt to save the Sides Cemetery. If had severe damage to most of the headstones from years of being overrun by cattle. As of March 2002, a fence has been erected and most of the limbs have been cleared. This was done through donations from family members of some of those buried there. Donations are still needed for the upkeep and restoring of the headstones. If there is a particular headstone you would like a picture of, I will be happy to send it for a small donation to cover my expenses for the photo and upkeep of the grounds.
