I am a student of Anthropology, Music, and Historic Preservation. I graduated cum laude from UCSC and hold a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University. I am deeply interested in the documentation and preservation of music history: particularly of the Jazz, Blues and Rock idioms.

I am also interested in the history, culture, and genealogy of the Californios; a Spanish/Mexican-derived people who lived in colonial/missionary California and then assimilated as United States Citizens following the Mexican-American War when California was ceded to the Union.
