My mother, Helen Beeken Miller Sackett, began doing genealogy research when I was about ten years old. I had always helped her, and now that she is gone, genealogy has become my passion. Researching SACKETT, HELDT, BEEKEN, (Joel) BALL, HEATH, PORLIER, SANDERS, LILES, MILLER, VALENTINE, VREELAND, VANGORDER and many other surnames.
