Shannon—Died at the Spenser nursing home, New Haven, April 2, Mrs. Viola Shannon, aged 69 years, of 421 South First street- She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Peter Belson, Oswego; a son, Arthur Pthiilips of Fulton; sister, Mrs. Rose Hall, Fulton; three brothers, Floyd, Raymond and Edward, all of Syracuse; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the Young funeral home Saturday afteroon, Lieut. Edwin Raceway of the Salvation Army officiating; interment
Jacksonville.

The deceased was a native of Ira, iut had resided here 26 years. She as the widow of Thomas Shannon.
