Alma "Bonnie" Hodges, West Des Moines. Alma M. "Bonnie", 91, of the 600 block of 22nd Street, West Des Moines, died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Hodges was born in Southeast Story County and had lived in the Des Moines area since the 1930's. She was a retired supervisor for Look Magazine and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She loved music and dance, and also enjoyed gardening.
A sister, Carrie Smith of Ames, survives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde.
Friends may call one hour prior to service time at the funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or American Diabetes Association.
