Barbara F. Myer, 74, of Kansas City, MO, died Saturday, January 14, 2006. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave. Burial at Sheffield Cemetery. Mrs. Myer moved to Kansas City from New York as a teenager in the 1940's. She was a former member of Club 100, City of Hope, and the Marcella Rodin Club. As a homemaker, Barbara's life was also centered around her family and her husband of 38 years, Harold Myer, who passed away in 1990. She was also preceded by her brother: Philip Quito and sister: Doris Bush. Mrs. Myer is survived by her daughter: Julie Myer, of the home; sons and their spouses: Michael and Nanci Myer and Larry and Aleza Myer, all of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren: Miccole and Nathan Bowen; Erin and Jason Strom; Jordan Myer and Elyanna Myer; greatgrandson: Lyndon Strom; and by Barbara's canine friend: Rudy.
