Mrs. Lottie Putz Dies Here Friday
Mrs. Lottie A. Putz, 61, died Friday at the Riggs Nursing home where she had been a patient. Mrs. Putz moved to Chariton from Peoria, Ill., about two months ago.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Miley Chapel with the Rev. Thomas L. Nieman officiating. Interment was at the Cochran cemetery near Lacona.
Among survivors are three sisters, Mary Benway and Maude Stoneking of Chariton and Gladys Endsley of St. Joe, Mo., and two brothers, Lon Daugherty of Chariton and Stanley Daugherty of Lacona.

PUTZ - Mrs. Lottie Angeline PUTZ, daughter of William and Elma Daugherty, was bornFebruary 1, 1905 and passed away August 5, 1966 at 61 years of age.
She was born, raised and educated in Warren county. She lived in the Lacona area until 12 years ago. Since that time she lived for four years in chariton, two years in Keokuk, and six years in Peoria, Ill. She was married to Albert Putz on April 4, 1923. She was a member of the Grace Baptist church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Albert, two sisters, Mrs. Myra Oliver and Ethel Miller; and two brothers, Frank Daugherty and Lara Daugherty.
She is survived by three sisters; Mary Benway of Chariton; Gladys Endsley of St. Joseph, Mo.; Maude Stoneking of Chariton and two brothers; Lon Daugherty of Chariton and Stanley Daugherty of Lacona.
Services were conducted at the Miley Chapel Sunday, August 7 at 2p.m., with the Rev. Thomas L. Neiman officiating. Interment was at the Cochran cemetery in Lacona
