Civilene Ford, age 88, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Mena.
She was born August 9, 1924 in Pine Ridge, Arkansas to the late Hugh Ryals and the late Era Fryar Ryals.
She was united in marriage to Fred Ford. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Mena for over 40 years. Civilene also taught Sunday school at her church and was devoted to her friends and family. She was a loving sister, aunt, and a very special friend and will be missed by many.
She is survived by:
Brothers: Leon Ryals and wife Mary of Mena, Arkansas
Clayton Ryals and wife Nona of Lockesburg, Arkansas
Sister: Willa Howard and husband Virgil of Mena, Arkansas
Special Friend: Melba Davis of Mena, Arkansas
Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Era Ryals, by her husband, Fred Ford, and by 1 brother, Gene Ryals
Funeral services will be Friday, November 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Mena with Brother Donnie Jewell officiating.
Interment follows in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be general.
