Jessie is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he has held many callings throughout his life including: First and Second Counselor in the bishopric, scout leader, 11 year old primary teacher, home teacher, and he served as a ward and stake missionary. He also served a two-year service mission for Deseret Industries. Jessie loved country music and enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica. He often played for the Park Dale Nursing Home, at LDS single adult functions and for various ward socials. Some of his hobbies included: deer hunting, river rafting, riding horses, camping, traveling and finding antiques at auctions.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; children: Troy James (Lisa Ann) Alexander of Green River, Wyo; Darla Kay (Kim) Blackham of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Tracy Ann Pearson (Collin) Rigby of Murray, Utah, Michael (deceased) (Shelly) Pearson of Paragould, Ariz; Lisa (deceased) Kyle Reddington of Provo, Utah; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers: Bob Alexander, Philip Alexander, John (Judy) Damron, Jerry Lynn (Janet) Damron and Karl Damron; and sister: Patricia Damron.
Preceded in death by his father and mother; step-father, Eugene Damron; first wife, Karen; brother, Dale Damron; nephew, Shaun Damron; step-children: Michael Wayne Pearson and Lisa Renee' Pearson Reddington.
