Bertha (Peterson) Davis, 96, of 901 Broadway Street, Niles, passed away on Monday December 27, 2004, at Lakeland Hospital in Niles.
Bertha was born on December 20, 1908, in New Carlisle, IN, to the late Albert and Alice (Fredenburg) Peterson. In 1927, Bertha married Floyd Davis at a ceremony in Niles, MI. She was a nurse for many years at Pawating Hospital in Niles.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Davis; a daughter Beverly Davis; a grandson, Wade J. Freel; a sister, Mary Rohrough; and a brother, Robert Peterson. Survivors include a cousin, Daryl (Beverly) Ramsby of South Bend, IN; a sister, Irene Marks of Mesa, Arizona,; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Bertha's wishes, no public services will be held. Interment will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Niles.
