Suggested edit: PROMINENT HAMBURG FARMER PASSES AWAY
Theodore Mueller, a prominent farmer of near Hamburg passed to the Great Beyond on Tuesday, December 28, at the age of 62 years, 11 months and 23 days.
He was born in Mecklenburg, Schwerin, Germany. In 1857 he came with his parents to America and settled on the farm where Mr. Mueller resided until the time of his death.
In 1880 he was united in marriage with Miss Anna Buckentine. Their union was blessed with 13 children. Two have preceded their father to the grave.
The funeral took place from the family residence Thursday afternoon, of last week at one o'clock. Friends from far and near were in attendance, and the floral offerings were many and beautiful.
Rev. Bouman officiated at the church and grave.
He leaves to mourn his loss the widow and 11 children, namely: Henry, Edward, Albert, William, Herman, Lena and Anna at home; Mrs. Fred Bentz, Mrs. Otto Jaus, of near Hamburg; Mrs. Martin Joel, of Arlington; and Mrs. Paul Geutzkow, of Braham, Minn. Also one brother Fred Mueller, of near Hamburg. We sympathize with the relatives in their bereavement
