Ruth Randall Holyoak Ballamis, 85, passed away on October 26, 2012 in Kearns, Utah.

She was born on July 16, 1927, in Burley, Idaho to James and Hilda Holyoak.

She was a school teacher in Idaho, Oregon and Utah. She was a long time member of Alpha Delta Kappa as well as Beta Sigma Phi. She was loved by many many friends. She had a love for flowers especially roses and iris', she also liked to do knitting, embroidery work and gardening.

She is survived by her children James L. Ballamis, Charlotte (Darcy) Jones, Michael (Teresa) Ballamis. Grandchildren Anthony Ballamis, Erica (Ivan) Trejo, Austin Offutt, Jordyn Jones, Andrew Jones, Mandi Jones, Nicholas Jones and Terra Jones; great grandchildren Issac Robles and Maxx Ivan Trejo. Brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Dean Holyoak and sister Norma Hardy.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 1 at the mortuary as well as one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at the West Jordan City Cemetery.
