Mrs. Elizabeth Adams
Osage City-Mrs. Elizabeth Adams, 90, Osage City, died Friday, Nov. 30, at the home of a son in Sun City West, Ariz., where she was visiting relatives.
She was born Nov. 19, 1894, at Lucas, Iowa, the daughter of David and Fannie Show Osenbaugh. She lived in Clay Center most of her life and in Osage City for the past 12 years.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the United Methodist Church and a former member of a Home Demonstration Unit at Osage City.
She was married to Glen C. Adams in 1916 at Clay Center. He died in 1972.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Jupe, Carlotta, Calif., and Mrs. Leora DeFord, Glenview, Ill.; six sons, Ralph Adams, Sun City West, Ariz., Dr. Paul Adams and Dr. Dwight Adams, both of Osage City, Roger Adams, Hinsdale, Ill., William Adams, Fort Worth, Texas, and Nolan Adams, Littleton, Colo.; 27 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Osage City. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Cemetery at Clay Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of Citizens State Bank, Osage City, 66533. Neill-Schwensen Funeral Home is in charge of Clay Center arrangements.
