Second son of Mr. and Mrs. G.T. Dawson.
Married Iva Scott April 19, 1919. Four children: Kenneth, Melba, and twin girls Maxine and Maurine, all alive to morn his death. He leaves also his parents, five brothers Raymond, Roy, Lloyd, C.E., and Cecil Dawson, and one sister Mrs. D.E. Mabes.
Interment was in the Toronto Cemetery.

Ralph was dangerously ill on Christmas Day when a fire which burned their home on the farm east of Toronto, forced his removal to Yates Center.
Died from abscess on his lungs, suffered from a lung hemorrhage. Article published in the Toronto Republican, January 9, 1936, page 1
