Death of Mr. Swain.
Mr. Roy N. Swain, who has been living with his mother at 317 West Tenth street until recently, passed away shortly after midnight this morning at the State hospital in Kearney, death resulting from tuberculosis. Mr. Swain has been sick for the last eighteen months. He was born in Grand Island and has lived here almost his entire lifetime, having worked for the Dolan and Brown wholesale houses. He reached the age of 28 years. Those who are left to mourn his loss are his mother, two sisters, Mrs. Della Hart and Mrs. Fred Hamann, both of Omaha, three (sic) brothers, Mr. Bert Swain, of Omaha, and a grandmother Hamann, of this city, and Mr. Fred Swain, of Omaha, and a grandmother who resided with them here at Grand Island. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 o'clock from the home on West Tenth street. Rev. Coon, of the Baptist College, will officiate at the services. Burial will be made in the Grand Island cemetery.
