OHATCHEE-Services for Mrs. Lula B. Bryant, 99, of Ohatchee, Rt. 1, will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary Chapel with R.W. Carter officiating. Burial will be in Ohatchee Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bryant died Tuesday at Colonial Pines Nursing Facility in Oxford.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sammie Simmons of Oxford; two sons, D.W. Bryant, Jr. of Texas and Charles Douglas Bryant of Ohatchee; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Daniels of Red Bay; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bryant Nunnelly, Clay Nunnelly, Warren Nunnelly, Sam Shultz, Marcel Gentes and Varon Harbin.
Mrs. Bryant was a Calhoun County resident most of her life and a member of Ohatchee Church of Christ.
