Mrs. John Hostetler passed away at her home near Draketown Saturday, Nov. 11. The preceding Sunday, when returning from religious services at Draketown, she was stricken with a paralytic stroke from which she did not regain consciousness.

The deceased's maiden name was Arminda Moon, being a daughter of the late A.J. and Harriett Moon of Draketown. She was born Aug. 28th, 1882, her age at death, being 41 years, 2 months and 13 days.

On August 14, 1899. she was united in marriage with John Hostetler of Kingwood, and the following children survive: James, Scott, Andrew, Harry, Woodrow, Helen, Edna and Mary Ethel. The following brothers and sisters also survive: James and Bruce Moon of Draketown; Floyd Moon, of Delaware; Mrs. A. B. Smith and Mrs. H. C. Younkin of Rockwood. One grandchild, Verna Hostetler, also survives.

Mrs. Hostetler was a member of the Jersey Baptist church, having united with the church in 1911 under the pastorate of Rev. L.P. Glass.

Funeral services, held in the Jersey church, were conducted by Rev. Powell of Confluence, assisted by Rev. Wm. Grantz, a life long friend of the family. Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
