Mrs. Marie R. Bamm
Houghton Lake - Mrs. Marie R. Bamm, 54, of Houghton Lake, died at 11 a.m. Yesterday in her home.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Capaul Funeral Home in Ida where services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Daniel Brown will officiate and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee. Bearers were Gene Wagner, Edgnar and Carl Burwitz, Norman Barkenquast, Otto Schultz and Junior Weller.
The daughter of Charles and Wilhelmina Zeller, she was born May 9, 1910, in Toledo. She was married to Ernest Bamm May 8, 1924, in Dundee. He died on Dec. 3, 1964.
She moved to Houghton from Ida in 1959 and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Houghton Lake.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald of Petersburg and Darryl of Toledo; a daughter, Patricia at home; a brother, Carl of Defiance, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Leckert of Moorestown, Mrs. Joan Justice of Clearwater, Fla., and Miss Betty Zeller of Toledo, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann in 1935.
