W.J. "Bill" Wash
Dies in Dresden
W.J. "Bill" Wash of Dresden died Saturday night at his home. He was 63 years old.
Mr. Wash was born near Sharon and had made his home in Weakley County the greater part of his life. He was a retired construction foreman and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ethelene Wash; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Hunt of Dresden, Mrs. R.L. Parks of Louisville; two brothers, Tom Mac Wash of Lansing, MI, and Woodrow Wash of Huntsville, AL; three sisters, Mrs. Ethelene Burch, Mrs. Sara Whitehead, and Mrs. Jewell Corlew, all of Memphis; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Monday morning at the Dresden Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Sunset Cemetery with Gardner Funeral Home of Sharon in charge of arrangements.
