--Dr. R. P. Roberts Dies In Oklahoma; Rites Here--Dr. Robert P. Roberts of Oklahoma City, Okla. died in a hospital in Tulsa Wednesday of last week following a heart attack at his home Monday. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian Church. The Rev. Bill Herod officiated and burial was in the Glendale Memorial Gardens. A Native of Missouri, Mr. Roberts was born Feb. 5, 1917 in Clark to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roberts. He was married in 1940 to Miss Josephine Jensen of Nelson, Neb. While in Centralia Dr. Roberts was a member of the Community Memorial Hospital in Moberly. After leaving Centralia he moved to Kansas City where he specialized in Radiology at the K. C. Osteopathic College. A member of the Centralia Masonic Lodge AF & Am no. 59, the Centralia council and the First Christian Church, he was active in the Junior Chamber of Commerce, and was a past secretary and treasurer of the Rotary Club. A graduate of the Kirksville Osteopathic College, he was also a member of the Missouri Osteopathic Assn., the Oklahoma Osteopathic Assn. and the National Osteopathic Assn., the all York Rite's Bodies and the Arab Shrine Club. Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Bobetta of the home, and a brother, W. C. roberts of Southgate, Calif., and one niece Linda Sue Roberts, also of Southgate. He was preceded in death by two infant children. Meador Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
