JUNCTION CITY — A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Franklin Cemetery for Dwane Kirk Richardson of Junction City, who died Oct. 19 of heart failure. He was 82.
A celebration of life will be held at Franklin Christian Church in Franklin after the graveside service.
He was born Jan. 8, 1930, in Eugene to Ira and Helen Milliron Richardson. He married Sylvia Berg on Aug. 27, 1950, in North Bend. She died May 23, 2007.
He attended Junction City public schools. After graduation, he attended trade school and served an apprenticeship in carpentry.
Survivors include a son, Kirk of Junction City; a daughter, Linda Loewen of Springfield; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A son, Lane, died previously.
