Mabel S. Rockafellow, 92, of Whiting, died Thursday, Sept. 10, in Crestwood Manor Care Center in Whiting.
She was a clerical worker for the Hunterdon County Democrat in Flemington, until retiring in 1971, and also formerly owned and operated Rockafellow Center Guest Home in Flemington for many years. Born, July 31, 1906, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Lillian Apgar Rockafellow.
She had lived in Flemington most of her life until moving to Whiting in 1972. She was a member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church and the Grandview Grange of Flemington.
She is survived by several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington. There will be no calling hours. Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington, is charge of the arrangements.
