Graveside services for Carrie Dillashaw Smith, 88, of Decatur, formerly of Hanceville, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Garden City Cemetery, the Rev. Andy Johnson officiating.

Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith died Monday, Nov. 10, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cullman County on July 14, 1915, to Joe Davis and Dochie Hudson. She was a licensed practical nurse at Baptist Medical Center in Princeton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include a son, Ronald (Ellen) Dillashaw of Hanceville; daughter, Betty (Ralph) Sharp of Decatur; a sister, Florence Gamble of Cullman; two brothers, Bill Hudson of Florida and Paul Hudson of Cullman; two grandsons, Taft (Brenda) Dillashaw of Good Hope and Todd (Angie) Dillashaw of Hamilton; a special grandchild, Libby Lovelace of Auburn; granddaughter, Leanne Sharp (Steven) Presley of Birmingham; and five great-grandchildren, Jake, Hannah Claire, Jackson, Ben and Annabeth.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Baptist Children's Home of Decatur.

Pallbearers will be Jake Dillashaw, Taft Dillashaw, Todd Dillashaw, Maxie Hudson, Robert C. McAnnally and Stephen Presley
