Though in the photo the birth year looks like 1882, Charity was actually born in 1832. She was the daughter of Jonathan Hazel Green and Susanna Mullen. She married George Washington Coulter about 1855 in Licking County, Ohio, and they moved first to Kansas Territory (1860 census), then to Henry County, Iowa (1870 & 1880 censuses) and finally on to Clark County, Washington (1885 & 1887 WA censuses, 1900 US census), where they had relatives. Their daughter, Addie, is also on this marker. I do not know, however, who J.C. Coulter is. There was a possible son named John, who was on the 1860 census with this family, but he would have been born about 1853.
