He was born in Erie, April 4, 1936, a son of the late Frank and Dorothy Abbott Wagner. He had been a resident of North East for the past 40 years.
He was a former member of the Greenfield Fire Department and was a dispatcher and self-employed truck driver for several years. He and his son were partners in a beef farm and they were well-known for their buffalo farm on Station Road in Greenfield Township, which they they had owned since 1983.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Janice Wittman Wagner; a son, Randy R. Wagner of North East; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Tammy) Cowser, of North East and a sister, Shirley Wagner of North East; a brother, Marvin Wagner of Wattsburg.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosemary Wagner, in 1989.
Burial will be in Grahamville Cemetery.
