Mrs. Thomas Cozad - Service arrangements for Mrs. Emma Cozad, the wife of Thomas D. Cozad and mother of Vincent Manning, owner of Manning's Drive-In Market, 910 Francis street are pending at the Heaton-Bowman Mortuary, 319 South 10th street. The family home is at 4520 High Drive.
Mrs. Cozad died Thursday night at a St. Joseph hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Cozad had been a saleslady in the ready-to-wear department of the Plymouth Clothing Co. Born at Wathena, she had lived here the greater part of her life.
In addition to her husband and son, survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mary Katherine Schalley, St. Joseph; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Courter and Mrs. Edna Wisniewski, both of St. Joseph, and Mrs. Dolly Ferguson, who lives in Florida; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
