Mrs. Cozad died Thursday night at a St. Joseph hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Cozad had been a saleslady in the ready-to-wear department of the Plymouth Clothing Co. Born at Wathena, she had lived here the greater part of her life.
In addition to her husband and son, survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mary Katherine Schalley, St. Joseph; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Courter and Mrs. Edna Wisniewski, both of St. Joseph, and Mrs. Dolly Ferguson, who lives in Florida; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
