Reed-Cosgrave.
At the Holy Family church Tuesday, August 16, at 8 o'clock a.m., Miss Mary E. Cosgrave was married to Mr. John Reed, the Rev. R. A. Shaffel officiating. Miss Mary Shannon acted as bridesmaid while Mr. P. H. Cosgrave attended the groom.
The ceremony was witnessed by a number of the friends of the contracting parties and on its conclusion the happy couple repaired to their new home on North Twenty-second street where the breakfast was served.
In the evening a large number of ladies and gentlemen assembled at the new home of Mr. and Mrs. Reed to extend the happy couple the usual congratulations and well wishes. The evening passed off pleasantly, not the least feature being an elegant supper spread at 12 o'clock. The presents were numerous and valuable.

REED – Mary E., aged 31 years, wife of John Reed, foreman of Durant fire department, at their residence, 623 North Fourteenth, of pneumonia. Funeral Tuesday, March 21, 1899, from her parents' residence, John E. Cosgrove, 2008 Grace street, to Holy Family church, at 9 o'clock, to Holy Sepulcher cemetery.
