Lillian Ladelle Peterson, 95, passed away on Friday, October 19. She was born on September 23, 1917, in Georgetown to parents Gus and Rosina Charnquist Peterson.

She was preceded in death by brothers Wilmer and Oscar Peterson and sisters, Emma Dahlberg, Selma Munson, Florence Peterson and Violet Brown.

She is survived by nephews Ellsworth Peterson of Georgetown, Franklin Dahlberg of Keithville, Louisiana, Robert Brown of Amarillo and niece Rosemary Peterson Bane of Nashville, Tennessee.

Lillian was a long-time resident of Austin, where she worked for the Texas Employment Commission. She was an active member of Austin's First United Methodist Church. Since 2004 she has been a resident of the Wesleyan Nursing Home on Scenic Drive in Georgetown.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Wesleyan Nursing home for the loving care that they have shown Lillian during her declining years.

There will be a graveside service in Georgetown's Odd Fellows Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, under the direction of the Gabriels Funeral Chapel.
