Following an extended illness, Mrs Isabelle Spindler Smith died at her home, 16 Winona street, Sunday, October 31, 1937, at 7 am. Mrs. Smith, a daughter of the late Andrew and Nancy Haines Spindler, was born near Clifton Mills, W Va.
She is survived by her husband, Milford E Smith, one son, George A Smith, of Connellsville; two daughters, Mary and Martha, at home; two brothers, Samuel Spindler, of Burgettstown, and Bruce Spindler, of Kingwood, W Va., and one granddaughter, Florence Smith, of Connellsville. A son, Charles, and a daughter Stella preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held in the Ferguson funeral home 80 Morgantown street, at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Homer C Renton, pastor of Asbury M E church, of which the deceased was a member, will have charge. Interment will be in the Uppermiddletown cemetery.
