Mildred K. Seay, 87, of Russellville, Ala. died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at her residence.
Mrs. Seay was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Stan Galloway and the Rev. Jerome Sherrill officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.
Survivors include children, Vera Mavis Turner and husband, William, Hazel Green, Ala., Reba Smith and husband, James, Russellville, Ala., Faye Swinney and husband, Sammy, Russellville, Ala., and Kay Chance and husband, Hubert, Spruce Pine, Ala.; sister, Louise King; grandchildren, Jedonna Whitten, Kerry Smith, Michael Smith, Eric Smith, Kristie Swinney Oliver and Shaun Seay Swinney; great grandchildren, Carrie Ann Smith, Caleb Whitten, Andrew Smith, Matthew Smith, Mason Swinney, Ethan Oliver and Kathryn Swinney.
Pallbearers will be Kerry Smith, Randy Whitten, Michael Smith, Eric Smith, Jamie Oliver, Scott Hutcheson, Shaun Swinney and John Holland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Seay; brothers, Farris Letson, Rayburn Letson, Otha D. Letson and Hulon Letson; sisters, Cleo Byrd and Lucille Wimberly; granddaughter, Brandy Chance Hutcheson; and great-grandson, Elliot Chance Hutcheson..
