Beverly Jean Heicken was born March 19, 1944, at my parent’s home. My mother had premature labor and delivered Beverly at 8 months, gestational age. Severe snow in the city prevented a cab from coming to the house. The doctor also could not come to the house due to road conditions. Beverly was baptized by a woman who lived next door. Beverly passed on hours after her birth. Upon the death of my Father and ordering the marker for his grave, Mary Gail and I, Beverly’s sisters, ordered this marker for her. She was dearly loved and missed by our family. Our sister, Kathy Heicken Heaton Allen, named her daughter, Beverly Ann Heaton, to honor our sister Beverly.
