She was born Nov. 27, 1970, in Greeley to Everette and Peggy (Bain) Brawner. Gina worked from the time she was 15 years old and graduated from West High School in Denver.
She worked for several management companies and, most recently, worked as an apartment manager while attending Northeastern Junior College in Sterling.
On March 10, 1990 she married Loren Swenson in Denver, where they lived before moving to Sterling.
Gina was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held the position of secretary in the Young Women's Organization of the church.
Gina is survived by her husband, Loren Swenson; mother, Peggy J. Brawner; son, Geric Matthew Brawner; daughters, Kirsten Laurana Swenson and Erin Mallory Swenson; and sister, Cheri Lyn Medina
She was preceded in death by her father, Everette E. Brawner in 2009.
