Henry Becker-91-Rockford, died at 12:40 P.M. Thursday, April 26,2007, at Northwoods Care Center in Belvidere, IL. Born November 18,1915, in Beulah, N.D., son of Carl and Christina Chrismann Becker. He lived 50 years in Rockford. Married to Louise L. Schmidt on September 25,1938 in Beulah, N.D.. Employed as a crane operator for Local 150 Operating Engineers for 35 years. Survivors include daughters; Shirley Nowlin of Bennington, NE., Carol (Dennis) Davis of Stillman Valley, Kathie (lewis) Maffioli of Rockford and Betty Wynstra of Waukesha, Wi.. 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, Louise in 1989, daughter Francis, his parents, Carl and Christina and brothers, Jake, Martin and Paul ; sisters Mary and Goldie. and son-in- laws Kenny Nowlin and Richard Perkins. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 30,2007, at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home. Rev. Herman Brown , Pastor of Lincolnwood Baptist Church, will officiate. Visitation from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Monday. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for the benefit of Northwoods Care Center. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Northwoods who cared for Henry. Funeral on Monday April 30, 2007, 11:00 at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home. Burial on Monday April 30, 2007 at Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
