He leaves his widow (Mary Margaret Ernest) to whom he was wedded but a short time; also the parents, one brother, and three sisters.
Funeral services Feb 1, at the Mennonite Church at Roaring Spring in charge of Bro Jacob Snyder. Laid to rest in the Greenlawn Cemetery of that place.

He is free from all burden and care;

And sorrow will never reach him there."
