Beatrice Pearl "Tiney" (Lovejoy) Wilcox, 69, of West Lafayette, died at 6:50 PM Thursday, Jan. 24, 1991, in Heritage Healthcare, where she had been a patient since October. Born Feb. 18, 1921, in Logansport, she attended Indiana Business College. She worked in the laundry department at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center for 14 years before retiring in 1980. She married Howard Wilcox in Lafayette on Nov. 4, 1964; he died May 19, 1988. Surviving is a son, Charles Shaw of LaPorte; a daughter, Carol (Mrs. Howard) Propst of Alabama; a brother, Royal Lovejoy, Sr. of Buck Creek; four grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother. Service Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Jan. 28, Rev. Bill Murdock officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
