Robert S. Clark Dies; Retired Farm Agent

Robert S. Clark, 78, of 1120 Pennsylvania Ave., Huntingdon, retired Huntingdon County farm agent, died at 3:30 a.m. yesterday, Sept. 15, 1974, at his home. Mr. Clark retired in 1965 with 38 years' service.
He was born Sept. 3, 1896, in Quakertown, a son of David and Anna (Bean) Clark, and married Catharine Black on Nov. 21, 1925, in Lewistown.
Surviving are his wife, three children, Mrs. Dorothy Merrifield and Harold of Wilmington, Del., and Ralph D. of Arlington, Va.; nine grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Naomi Dimmich and Mrs. Ethel Edith Miller of Bethlehem and Ruth Heimbach of Allentown.
Mr. Clark was a member and elder of the Abey Reformed United Church of Christ, Huntingdon, having served with the church consistory, and was a Sunday School teacher........
He was a graduate of Pennsylvania State College in 1918, and received a master's degree from University of Minnesota in 1925.
Friends will be received in the Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon, from 2 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
