CHAMBERS, MARIE ACUFF - age 75 of Alcoa, died at 3:45 a.m., Friday, July 2, 1999 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Forest Park Methodist Church in Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evart and Reva Acuff; sister, Imelda Nicely. Survivors: husband, C.R. Chambers; daughter and son -in-law, Anna Marie and Bill Goodwin of Cary, NC; grandson, Russell Charles Goodwin of Cary, N.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Gale and Bernice Acuff of Maryville, Charlie and Dorothy Acuff of Alcoa; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service 7:30 p.m., Sunday, July 4, 1999, Smith Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday July 5, 1999 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
