Marion Leader Tribune Monday 6 April 1936 -- -- Diskey Infant's Funeral Planned -- -- Funeral services for Robert Diskey, 18 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Diskey, Marion, Rural Route 3, will be held at 3 p.m. today at the residence of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Diskey, 3558 South Boots street. Rev. A. L. Vess, pastor of the Marion College Wesleyan Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
The child died Sunday as the result of having swallowed a capsule prepared for livestock medical purposes Friday. He had reached the medicine in the kitchen of the Diskey home, southwest of Marion, while his parents were out of sight.
Surviving are the parents; two brothers, Edward, Jr., and John Raymond; a sister, Anna Louise, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Diskey, Marion, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jones, Danville, O. The body was taken to the Diskey home here from 2901 South Washington street.
