CARMOUCHE Joseph Louis "Papa Joe" Carmouche, age 88, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of the late Margie Bordelon Carmouche of 58 years. Loving father of Naomi C. Seeber (late, Billy), Deborah C. Guidry (Gerard), Sharon C. Heath (Nicholas C. Martinez, Sr.) and Robin C. Keleher (Kevin). Son of the late Elda Guilliot Carmouche & Aledas Carmouche. Brother of Ila C. Couvillion (late, Kirby). Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 11 great-grandchildren. Loving companion of Helen Bordelon LaBorde.

A native of Marksville, LA and a resident of Harahan, LA. "Papa Joe" retired from Matlock Transportation, Inc. after 40 years of service. He loved to travel with his wife and enjoyed spending quality time with his daughters and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Graveside Service at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie, LA on Friday, October 26, 2012 at12:00 PM with a gathering following the service.
