George Hale, 82, Dies.

George Hale, 82, died Thursday night at his home, 4715 James street, East Syracuse. He had been in poor health for the past eight years. Surviving are his wife, nine sons, William E. and Andrew S. Hale of Syracuse; Harrison H., Daniel J., Frank A. and Judson Hale of Manlius, Charles W., Arthur G. and Theodore W. Hale of Collamer and five daughters, Mrs. Ross Lothridge of Chittenango, Mrs. Fred Galster of Syracuse, Mrs. Harry Greabell, Mrs. Allen Law and Miss Phoebe E. Hale of East Syracuse; two brothers, John J. Hale of Manlius and Luke Hale of Gays Mills, Wis., and a sister, Mrs. Emma Allen, of Tennessee.

FUNERALS

Private funeral services for George Hale, 82, one of the most prosperous and well-known farmers of East Syracuse, who died Thursday night after a lingering illness, will be held from his home, 4815 James st., Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
