Henrietta Greenbaum was born in NY. Her father and husband were born in Germany and her mother in England, and Henrietta's children were all born in Iowa. She was the wife of Joseph Greenbaum. In 1880 she was 31 and married to Joseph 41., Their children; Simon 10, Ellis 8, Aimee 6, Daisy 4, and Wallace 2, and brother in-law M. A. Newkirk 33. In Iowa age 46, in 1895 with Joseph 57, and children Crimie 21, Desey 19, Wallace 16 and Annie 9. In 1900 she was 51, a widow, and head of the family living in Iowa with children; Aimee 26, Daisy 24, Wallace 22, Anna 16, with a servant Ella Holmes 23. By 1910 she was living in Denver as head of family at 60 with children Wallace 31, Anne 36, Daisy 25, Aimee 34, son in-law Adolf Ottenheimer 34, and grandson Joseph Ottenheimer 4 born in Colorado, and servant Lena Peiser 21.
