Dianne Marie Larsen, age 75, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Dianne was born in Kennewick, Washington on May 12, 1934. Her husband Donald E. Larsen preceded her in death. They were married for 48 years. Dianne attended Kennewick High School. She often spoke of working mornings on her parents' farm before catching the bus to school. Her parents eventually sold their farm to a major league baseball team and minor league stadium (Sanders Jacobs Field) was built on the property. Dianne liked to kid people that she was born on home plate.
Dianne was an excellent bowler. She once bowled a three game series of 220, 230, and 240. She won many tournaments and league championships. She donated her many trophies to Special Olympics.
Dianne is survived by her two sons and their wives, Danny and Arlene Larsen, and Dennis and Carol Larsen, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made in Dianne's name to Hospice at the Chaplaincy, 2108 West Entiat Avenue, Kennewick, WA.
Private family service has been arranged.
