Clark's Hill, Indiana, February 17 - John C. worth, formerly a resident of Clark's Hill, died at four o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the family home, in Shannondale, Montgomery county, after a week's illness. Death was due to apoplexy. Mr. Worth was born in Montgomery county, May 8, 1845. He saw service in the Civil war, serving with Company C. 120th Indiana Regiment. Surviving are the widow, and two children by his first wife; Mrs. Joseph Apple and William Worth, of Clark's Hill. The body was brought here Wednesday afternoon to the home of his son, William Worth, where funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Kuhn in charge; burial in the Clark cemetery.
