She retired from Texas Instruments in 1987.She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She was also preceded in death by her parents, W.A. and Este Mae Nix and brothers, Charley L.Nix of Oklahoma and Jack C.Nix of Lubbock. Survivors include two daughters, Glynda Brown of Lubbock, and Quanda Bollack of Turlock, Calif.; three grandchildren, Lola Ham, G ¹Anna Brown and Mark Allen Brown, and five great grandchildren.
