Survivors include his wife Regina; sons Larry of Brighton, CO; Tom of Franktown, CO; Leon, Glenn, David, Dale and Darryl all of Aurora; daughters: Susan Grafman and Ruby Felt of Arizona and Grace Eberhardt of Aurora. Brother Alvin Spies of Topeka, KS; sisters: Helen Reitmeyer of Oregon and Arlene Moses of Texas and 13 grandchildren.
Services were at 9 a.m. April 4, 1998 at the St. Theresa Catholic Church of Aurora with burial in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Wheatridge, CO.
