Mrs. Mamie Lou Hall Sledge

Mrs. Mamie Lou Hall Sledge, 94, died at 4:3-0 p.m. Saturday in a Nashville, Tenn. hospital after a brief illness. A former resident of Bowling Green, she had resided in Nashville, Tenn. for several years with her daughter.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Gerard-Bradley Funeral Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery.

She was the former wife of Garland D. Sledge, former president of American National Bank, who died in 1950. A native of Warren County, she was a member of the State Street United Methodist Church and the Samuel Davies Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Phillip J. Noel Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; one son, David Hall Sledge of Louisville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
